What should you consider when commissioning the certified translation of your marriage certificate?
- All entries must be clearly legible.
- If you get married abroad, make sure that any hand-written entries (e.g. registrar’s name) are clearly legible and sort out any mishaps.
- Please type out any handwritten entries and submit them on an extra sheet along with your order. Do not forget your passport so that we can verify the correct spelling of your name.
- If you get married in the US in addition to your marriage certificate you might also be issued a marriage licence. Usually both are translated.
